Overview: Sales Manager (Soft FM & Security)
The primary role of the Sales Manager is to create a sales department that creates and converts new security guarding and soft facilities management business for the company.
It is felt that a key improvement to be made specifically to our security guarding side of the business with bolt on services for grounds maintenance and window cleaning a priority. Services outside of these will be passed to the Sales Manager to follow up (such as external or high level cleaning)
The board of Director’s support and welcome fresh thinking, man management, financial savings and general approach to securing our clients wishes.
With this role involving site visits/client meetings/networking both in and out of hours standard office hours and outside the immediate office location, a company vehicle is provided with this role. The driving and responsibilities of using a company car is laid out in the Company Car Procedure in the handbook.

* Be flexible with the hours in which you work.

* To present yourself in a professional and responsible manner at all times whilst at work representing the image of the company.
* Before or after work hours networking events may be required.
* Self generated leads either by door knocking, cold calling or “see the need” opportunities will create part of the sales pipeline.
* It is vital that the inbound sales pipeline spreadsheet is kept accurate and up to date, this may eventually grow into a more formal CRM software.
* You have full and unprecedented access to the board of Director’s should you require advise or guidance.
