Job Title: Sales Manager – Electrical Conduit

Remuneration: £50,000-£60,000 + £20,000 Commission

The role of the Sales Manager – Electrical Conduit will involve:
* Field sales position, selling a manufactured range of electrical conduit
* Selling into predominantly electrical contractors/ M&E contractors, electrical wholesalers as well as specialist installers such as; solar farm installers, military contractors etc.
* New business development role, our client has a huge reputation in Europe but is new to the UK market with these specific products (established in other areas)
* Tasked to grow a small number of existing customers, worth circa £100,000 to £750,000 in your 1st year
* Typically 4 days a week on the road, 1 day either working from home or our client’s Midlands based office
* 2-3 visits per year to head office in Europe
* Promoting a very well-known European brand with industry leading products (small but growing reputation in the UK market)
* Order values typically up to £250,000
* 1st dedicated sales person on the ground, this is a genuine opportunity to head up this division in the future
* UK line manager but also working closely with the technical, training and product development departments in Europe
The ideal applicant will be an Sales Manager – Electrical Conduit with:
* Electrical industry field sales experience
* Must have sold into either electrical contractors/ M&E contractors or electrical wholesalers, ideally both
* Entrepreneurial spirit
* Autonomous in nature
* Ability to forge a market for these highly regarded manufactured products in the UK market
* Not reliant on a leading UK brand name/ comfortable acting as a brand ambassador
* IT Savvy, able to create sales plan
* Energetic self-starter capable of handling multiple tasks to deadlines
* Calm trustworthy and professional approach
