My client in Totnes is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead commercial growth, manage key customer relationships, and drive new business development. The role is central to the Company's sales strategy, working closely with the Managing Director and wider team to deliver revenue targets, strengthen customer partnerships, and support the Company's continued growth.
Person Specification
Essential
* Proven track record in a sales management or senior sales role, ideally in a technical, industrial or manufacturing environment.
* Strong track record of new business development and account management.
* Excellent negotiation, communication and relationship-building skills.
* Commercially astute, with the ability to interpret pricing, margin and performance data.
* Full, valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly.
* Self-motivated, well organised, and able to manage a varied workload with minimal supervision.
Desirable
* Experience managing or mentoring a small sales team.
* Familiarity with CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
* Existing network of contacts within relevant industry sectors
