Sales Manager – Electrical Wholesale

We are currently recruiting for a sales Manager to join a well-established electrical wholesaler based in Essex. This is a fantastic development opportunity for someone with a strong sales background who is looking to take the next step in their career.

The Role
We are looking for someone with Electrical Wholesale experience, or someone from a builders' merchant / trade environment who is confident dealing with tradespeople and understands the importance of building strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
• Developing and growing sales within the branch and surrounding area
• Proactively identifying and winning new business
• Getting out into the local area and developing new customer relationships
• Building a strong customer base amongst local tradespeople and businesses
• Following up on leads and identifying new sales opportunities
• Working closely with the branch team to maximise sales opportunities
• Helping to drive the continued growth and development of the branch
• Taking ownership of your sales area and actively looking for ways to increase revenue

About You
We are looking for someone who is:
• Experienced within Electrical Wholesale, Builders' Merchants or a similar trade environment
• Naturally proactive and commercially minded
• Confident approaching new customers and developing business
• A strong communicator with excellent customer service skills
• Able to work independently and take ownership
• Keen to develop their product and technical knowledge
• Not afraid to pick up the phone, get out on the road and knock on doors

Training & Development
Full sales, product and technical training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who has the right attitude and wants to develop their knowledge and career within the electrical wholesale industry.
