Description:

S3 Science is recruiting for a fantastic new opportunity as an Equine Sales Manager working with our client based in Milton Keynes who is proud to be a global veterinary medicine provider which is dedicated to the health and welfare of animals. The starting salary for the role is £33,500 – £58,000. This is a full-time role for a temporary period of 7 months with the possibility of being extended. This is also a work-from-home role, but you will be expected to be in the office for meetings you are required to attend.

As an Equine Business Manager, you will be responsible for the sales and sales support functions. You will supervise the day-to-day operations of the sales team. You will be required to plan and execute tactics and promotions to maximize the sales potential of the company's range of products.

Key Responsibilities:

* Facilitating the uptake of sales for equine products within designated accounts in the UK. Working closely with Account Managers to achieve quarterly and annual sales targets in line with divisional and company business strategy

* Develop and maintain customer relationships with customers, producers, and staff

* Managing day-to-day activities including updating systems and ensuring all administration is completed in an accurate and timely manner

* Working collaboratively with all business unit colleagues with an interest in the customer relationship

* Meet specific sales KPIs in line with the national and local targets.

* Implement and deliver account/campaign plans in line with sales and marketing objectives ensuring optimum return

Job Requirements:

* Previous project management experience

* Previous experience in Animal Health would be preferred

* Experience in a sales role

* A good and clear understanding of the animal health environment

* Self-motivated and able to use appropriate levels of assertiveness to engage internal and external customers

* Full and extensive knowledge of the Global Business Solutions B2B business
