THE OPPORTUNITY
Marmon Lift Recruitment is working with a growing independent lift engineering business to recruit a Sales Executive to join its expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded sales professional to join a specialist business supplying products and solutions into the lift and vertical transportation sector.
You will develop customer relationships, generate new business and sell specialist products to lift companies, contractors and industry customers. We will provide full product training, making this an ideal opportunity for someone with experience in technical sales, construction, engineering, building products, or mechanical services who wants to develop their career in the lift industry.
COMMUTABLE FROM: Dartford, Gravesend, Maidstone, Sevenoaks, Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells, Ashford, Medway, Canterbury, Sittingbourne, Folkestone and surrounding areas.
THE ROLE
*
Develop new business opportunities and manage existing customer accounts.
*
Promote and sell specialist products to lift companies and contractors.
*
Build strong relationships with customers across the UK.
*
Manage sales enquiries, understand requirements and provide technical advice.
*
Prepare, present and follow up quotations to secure orders.
*
Carry out customer visits and attend meetings nationwide.
*
Work closely with internal technical and operational teams.
*
Maintain CRM records, manage the sales pipeline and achieve sales targets.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
*
Minimum 2 years' experience in technical sales, field sales or business development.
*
Background in construction, engineering, building products or mechanical services.
*
Lift industry experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
*
Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
*
Commercially minded, proactive and motivated to win new business.
*
Comfortable with nationwide travel and customer visits.
*
Full UK driving licence.
