Sales Executive

An excellent opportunity for either an experienced sales professional or someone looking to break into sales. You will have the opportunity to earn uncapped commission selling advertising space on tourist maps around the country.

My client is looking to expand our already successful team in Coventry. They are looking for new colleagues who have the drive, confidence, and ability to thrive in a successful and competitive environment where hard work is rewarded.

Hours are Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm. Salary is £18,000-£22,000 basic with a realistic uncapped OTE of £40,000+.

The Role

Managing your own project, working on a different publication each month, you will source and contact local businesses - inviting them to feature on a tourist map. You are responsible for the success of each map, with the support of the team behind you when you need it.

- Managing your own project
- Negotiating and closing sales

The Environment

- Telephone sales, but not a call centre
- No scripts, we need your personality to shine through to gain those sales
- Varied team all focused on performing well to ensure the success of each publication and to earn uncapped commission
- Full training available for the right person

The Person

- Genuine sales person, with or without previous experience, but with an ability to generate interest, build rapport and close sales.
- Self motivated. You will be expected to manage your own project and time, in a small but growing team
- Motivated by targets. The earning potential is excellent and achievable, but requires motivation, determination and hard work
- Confident yet warm and friendly
