We're recruiting for a New Business Sales Executive to join a well-established insurance brokerage in South Leicester. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and successful team where you'll focus on developing new commercial business, building a strong pipeline and converting opportunities into long-term clients.
As a New Business Sales Executive, you'll be responsible for identifying new opportunities, speaking with prospective clients, understanding their insurance requirements and presenting tailored insurance solutions. What you'll be doing as a New Business Sales Executive:
Identifying and developing new commercial business opportunities through outbound calls, referrals and incoming enquiries
Building strong relationships with prospective clients and understanding their insurance requirements
Preparing and presenting competitive commercial insurance quotations
Negotiating with insurers to secure suitable cover and competitive premiums
Managing the sales process from initial enquiry through to policy placement
Maintaining an active sales pipeline and following up on opportunities
Working towards individual sales targets while delivering an excellent customer experience
Ensuring all work is completed in line with FCA regulations and company procedures
What we're looking for in a New Business Sales Executive:
Previous experience in commercial insurance sales, business development or a similar insurance sales role
A proven track record of generating new business and achieving sales targets
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Confidence negotiating with clients and insurers
A proactive, self-motivated approach with strong commercial awareness
Good knowledge of FCA regulations and insurance compliance
