Job Title: Sales Executive – Networking Events
Location: Husbands Bosworth, Leicestershire
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Days Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
Pay Rate: £31k to £32k basic (dependant on experience) +bonus
Immediate start available

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established ‘meet the buyer’ events company on a permanent basis.

DP Business Events is a leading and very busy meet the buyer event organiser who have been established for 21 years. The events are highly focused business events within the Hospitality, Hotel, Healthcare, Interior Design, and Logistics sectors.

These B2B events are hosted at luxurious hotels in The UK and in EU. The events run over 2 days and 3-day durations and will include very senior level executives and range in size from 130 to 250 delegates.

The event format is called ‘Meet The Buyer’; which puts suppliers directly in front of senior buyers from leading companies so supply deals and opportunities can be discussed and agreed. Delegates meet in one to one appointment sessions and are all based at the same location so for the total duration of the event they can concentrate totally on winning orders and doing deals. These events are facilitated and hosted by our client. There are endless numbers of leading companies and brands who attend.

Your job as a Sales Exec is to use your sales skills to win the attendance of companies who want to attend to meet and do business with the attending buyers at the event. You will research the market, use Google/Linked-In and more, build pipelines and sell via phone to these companies, informing them of the full features and benefits of attending and then close the sale.

Training provided in this sector but this is a Senior Sales Executive role and you will have experience pitching and negotiating with companies at all levels.

The Role:

* Telesales type role.

* Identify and approach companies that may be interested in meeting Buyers/Suppliers in their industry.

* Pitch services via phone/email.

* Negotiate packages and add ons/extras.

* Account manage your own clients.

* Develop old AND new accounts.

* Full 360 sales process.

* Office based, full time 9am to 5pm.

The Candidate:

* Experience in a Senior Sales/Telesales role.

* Can work on own initiative.

* Has a proven track record.

* Confident pitching ideas and negotiating rates.

* Can manage and build pipelines.

* Good customer service skills.
