Salary: £26,300 per annum (plus performance based bonus scheme)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday–Friday, 08:30–17:00
Are you a confident, personable and commercially focused individual looking for your next opportunity in sales?
We are currently recruiting for a Sales Executive to join a successful and growing business based in Northampton.
This is a varied role combining sales, account management, customer relationships and business development, with the opportunity to attend exhibitions and industry events and build strong relationships with both existing and prospective customers.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and develop existing customer accounts
Build and maintain strong customer relationships
Follow up enquiries, leads and product samples
Identify opportunities to increase sales and customer retention
Attend exhibitions, trade shows and industry events
Support quotations, product information and sales documentation
Maintain accurate customer and sales records
Liaise with internal teams to meet customer requirements
Support the wider sales team with day-to-day activitiesAbout You We are looking for someone who is:
Confident, friendly and professional
Commercially aware with a genuine interest in sales
Excellent at building relationships
Proactive and organised
Confident communicating with customers at all levels
Comfortable representing a business at events and exhibitions
IT literate with strong administrative skills
Able to work independently and as part of a teamPrevious experience in sales, account management, customer service or a commercial environment would be advantageous.
