Sales Engineer – Linear Actuators

Location - Midlands and North England

* £40,000 - £45,000 Basic Salary

* 25% Bonus

A unique opportunity has become available to join a global manufacturer of electric linear actuators that offers best-in-class product innovation and high technical support to their industrial customers across the UK.

The Role

As the Sales Engineer you will be responsible for all sales across the Midlands and North of England focused on developing over 30 existing accounts and developing new business within the area. The client base mainly consists of OEM business across Industrial segments such as agricultural, marine, packaging, mobile, off-highway, conveying, robotics, and automation. You will work closely with design and production to develop the specifications of new product lines while offering technical support to customers on applications.

Significant technical training will be offered during the onboarding process to ensure you have everything you need to be successful in the role.

Experience Required

Given the excellent training offered the experience required is flexible but ideally, you will have

* Sales Engineering experience and the drive to succeed in a customer-facing role

* Experience selling a technical engineered solution

* Mechanical or Electrical engineering experience at HNC level or above however this is not essential

* Experience across Industrial customers with OEM experience being desirable

* Willing to work autonomously with a strong drive to develop relationships and sales

Typical product areas that are considered as highly transferable include actuators, linear motion, motion control, automation, pneumatics, and hydraulics with experience of BUS systems seen as highly desirable. However, with a strong technical background and a demonstratable track record across sales most engineered products will be considered.

Highly sought areas of experience include sales engineering, account manager, Internal Sales Engineer, Technical Support Engineer, Business Development Manager, Sales Manager and Application Engineer.
