Can you as Sales Engineer and your new manager conquer the EV market?

New products, new ideas brewing, the engineering know how and a fantastic design team…. Throw you, your natural sales ability and engineering know how as Sales Engineer into the mix, and you have the perfect partnership!

This market is untapped & uncapped, with the amount of investment that has been put into electric vehicles they are going to be around for the foreseeable future.

This isn’t a churn product, it’s an investment, its capital equipment, as Sales Engineer, you know it’s all about relationship building coupled with your technical know-how, you might not close the sale on the first call, but you keep in touch, tap into those buying signals and make yourself available when a prospect does need you and boom you’ve closed the sale.

As Sales Engineer, this isn’t a department where you are in competition with lots of colleagues going after the same business, it’s all yours; your new boss the Commercial Director has warmed some of the market up for you, she needs you to be her tag team partner, turning a prospect into a customer and an enquiry into a sale.

The plan is to concentrate on the UK market, but if you have a business case to go further afield, here you can go for it.

You are comfortable on the phone, know how to put together a great email, and when it comes to showcasing your engineering knowledge that’s where you really come into your own, you are equally as comfortable Infront of people, you won’t be chained to a desk, you can go out and meet your customers.

This might suit you if you have gained your engineering knowledge through your time in the military or in a civilian hands-on engineering role.

How will you be rewarded?

* A competitive base salary ranging from £35k-£45k.

* Your targets will be realistic, although you will have a target you are paid on every sale, which means the earnings are uncapped, the more deals you close the more you can expect to see in your bonus pay.

* A slice of our company profit share bonus – for everyone.

* Flexible hours from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.

* 28 days' holiday, escalating with each year of service up to an additional 8 days over 5 years.
