Sales Director

Leicester

Full time | Permanent

Salary up to £85k depending on experience

+ Company car/car allowance

+ Results driven bonus

Our Leicester based clients who specialise in Retail POS design and manufacture working on retail solutions for some of the biggest UK brands and retailers.

They require an accomplished Sales Director to work alongside the existing directors and team overseeing sales strategies, business development, setting and achieving KPI’s, new business and also managing existing clients/brands.

A track record of working in the Retail POS industry is essential as well as a solid consistent work history and a proven track record of setting and delivering sales targets is essential as well as increasing existing client spend and generating and bringing on board new clients through their existing client contacts.

The role

- Increasing existing client spend and profitability

- Driving new sales and bringing new clients on board

- Working with the directors on a sales strategy

- Working with internal teams on individual project financials and project progress

- Bridging the gap between client and internal teams

- Communicating with new/existing clients daily – Phone, email, Face to face

- Hands on approach to sales and account management but experience with managing

direct reports

Essential Skills/Experience

- Experience within the Retail POS industry

- Business Development/Sales and Account management experience

- Proven track record in driving new sales/new business including sales strategy

- Good solid experience in successfully managing existing client accounts

- Commercially astute – working with internal teams regarding project financials

- Confident communicator in all aspects of client management including F2F meetings

- A track record of delivering on sales targets and increasing client spend

- Being the bridge between internal and client throughout multiple projects.

- Successfully able to build and grow strong relationships with clients

- Flexible approach to working within a busy industry, team player

- Passionate about clients and delivering successful retail solutions
