Job Summary

The Sales Director will be responsible for leading the sales team for SWS and XPO. This role involves developing strategies to ensure both teams perform to the highest standards, meet yearly targets, and are well-known within their sectors. Additionally, the Sales Director will manage the day-to-day operations of the teams and oversee revenue/account management for. The goal is to position our client as the go-to supplier across various sectors and experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the sales teams for SWS and XPO, developing strategies to ensure high performance and achievement of yearly targets.
Manage day-to-day operations of the sales teams, providing guidance and support as needed.
Lead the marketing teams for SWS and XPO, developing strategies to increase visibility within their respective sectors and achieve yearly targets.
Manage day-to-day operations of the marketing teams, ensuring effective execution of marketing strategies.
Oversee revenue and account management for XPO, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
Position our client as the go-to supplier for exhibitors, organisers, agencies, brands, and associations, promoting the benefits of working with the Group across all sectors.
Drive key achievements such as winning industry awards, securing board appointments, and leading operational initiatives.
Develop and implement business plans, identifying short, medium, and long-term goals for business enhancement and expansion.
Set and manage yearly budget/targets, considering gross and net margins, and the impact of outsourcing versus in-house delivery of projects.
Enhance the focus, capabilities, and performance contribution of the sales teams through professional and personal development initiatives.
Ensure internal and external understanding of the Group's proposition and promote synergy between brands.
Report target progress at both Group and brand levels to CEO
Develop and roll out effective marketing strategies to support sales activities and maintain the Group's profile in the live event sector.
Further the aspirations of the Group through personal brand and activity in industry-wide initiatives and associations.
Collaborate closely with the Senior Management Team to drive business goals and aspirations.
As duties and responsibilities change, the job description will be reviewed and amended in consultation with the Sales Director.
The Sales Director will promote and ensure the company's adherence to ISO standards and environmental objectives, driving a culture of sustainability and continuous improvement throughout the organisation."
The Sales Director will carry out any other duties as are within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job as requested by Manging Director.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferredExperience:

Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the events or exhibition industry.
Experience managing a Sales Team.
Experience managing a key client accounts and exceeding sales targets.

Revenue Growth: Measure the increase in revenue generated by SWS and XPO. This can be broken down into overall revenue growth as well as growth from new clients versus existing clients.
Customer Acquisition Rate: Monitor the rate at which new clients are acquired. This KPI can indicate the success of new business acquisition efforts and the effectiveness of lead generation strategies.
Customer Retention Rate: Measure the percentage of existing clients retained over a specific period. A high retention rate indicates strong customer satisfaction and loyalty, reflecting positively on sales and marketing efforts.
Average Deal Size: Track the average value of deals closed by the sales teams. Increasing average deal size can contribute to higher revenue and profitability.
Working Conditions:

09:00 - 17:30 hrs based in SW19 2QA/Hybrid
Travel: This role may require occasional travel to event venues, client meetings, and industry conferences.
Flexible Hours: The nature of event management may require working evenings, weekends, and holidays to accommodate client needs and event schedules
