Sales Development Representative (Lead Generator / Teleappointer) ???? Birmingham City Centre (Office-Based) ???? £30,000 base + £20,000 commission (OTE £50,000) The Opportunity A fast-growing, high-performing consultancy in the energy sector is looking to hire a driven and resilient Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join its expanding commercial team. This is a high-pressure, high-reward role focused on outbound prospecting, booking qualified meetings, and generating long-term pipeline. You’ll engage directly with senior decision-makers across mid-market and large corporate businesses. This is not a high-volume, entry-level call centre role — success requires a consultative, intelligent approach to outreach. What You’ll Be Doing * Conduct outbound cold calls to UK businesses * Identify and engage senior decision-makers (Directors, Owners, Finance leads, Operations) * Book qualified meetings for senior consultants * Obtain energy bills to support consultancy assessments * Build and manage a pipeline of opportunities * Log all activity accurately within CRM systems * Handle objections and gatekeepers confidently * Contribute to improving outreach strategy and messaging Performance Expectations * Baseline: ~2 meetings or bills secured per week * Strong performance: 3+ per week * Underperformance:
