Description:
Our client based in Reading is currently seeking a driven Sales Development Representative to lead new business growth across ICT, Content Services, and Managed Print Solutions (MPS). This is a hunter role: the focus is on identifying, prospecting, and winning new logos across Commercial, Corporate, and Public Sector markets, with some scope to grow existing accounts along the way.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prospect and win new business, exceeding targets across ICT, Content Services, and MPS
* Build and manage a pipeline from first outreach through to close, using proactive lead generation (cold outreach, networking, referrals)
* Identify and engage key decision-makers in target accounts to open doors and build relationships from scratch
* Own the full new business sales cycle: qualifying opportunities, presenting solutions, negotiating, and closing
* Maintain accurate CRM records to track pipeline health and new business activity
* Grow existing accounts alongside new business activity
Required Skills & Experience:
* Proven new business sales experience, with a track record of consistently hitting or exceeding targets.
* Confident, proactive prospector – comfortable with cold outreach and building a pipeline from nothing.
* Proficient in Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Teams).
* Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, especially with new/unfamiliar contacts.
* Ability to manage a full sales cycle independently and deliver customer value.
* Self-motivated, resilient, and target-driven — thrives on winning new business.
