The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and commercially driven sales consultant to drive sales growth across a designated territory.

This is a strategic field sales role focused on identifying and converting opportunities while developing profitable, long-term relationships with new and existing stockists.

Operating from a fully remote basis, this role requires an individual who is highly organised, self-motivated and disciplined, with exceptional time and diary management skills.

Key responsibilities include:

* Selling into builders’ merchants, timber merchants, specialist distributors and similar customers.

* Create strong account relationships, recognising opportunities and maximising potential.

* Identify new products and market gaps.

* Account and product evaluation with key accounts.

* Generating bespoke product profiles.

* Generating structured business plans and driving them forward.

* Setting call objectives and achieving them.

* Selling in promotions.

* Negotiating and applying new discounts on new and existing ranges.

* Promoting web & EDI ordering.

* Merchandising and training when required.

* Attending various trade show & exhibitions.

* Ensuring the CRM software is used to its highest potential and all notes and contact information is up to date at all times.

Skills and Knowledge Required:

* Previous sales experience with proven track record is essential.

* Confident & outgoing personality.

* High level of communication skills.

* Excellent negotiation skills & commercial awareness of opportunities.

* Good IT skills with high competency in Microsoft Office.

* Ability to work as part of a team and assist colleagues when required.
