Chase Taylor Recruitment are working on behalf of a client to recruit a Sales Consultant to join their team in Halifax.
We are looking for a confident, personable and commercially minded sales professional who enjoys speaking with customers, building relationships and converting enquiries into sales.
This is a varied, customer-facing role combining showroom sales, internal sales and telephone-based selling. We are open to candidates from either a B2C or B2B sales background.
The Role
* Welcoming and greeting customers visiting the showroom.
* Understanding customer requirements and discussing suitable products and solutions.
* Managing incoming enquiries and following up on potential sales opportunities.
* Making outbound calls to generate interest and convert leads.
* Building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
* Preparing quotations and progressing orders through the sales process.
* Supporting the wider sales team and contributing towards sales targets.
* Delivering an excellent customer experience from initial enquiry through to completion.
About You
* Previous sales experience, either B2C or B2B.
* Confident communicating face-to-face and over the telephone.
* Comfortable handling incoming enquiries and making outbound sales calls.
* A natural relationship builder with a proactive approach.
* Commercially driven, motivated and target focused.
* Showroom, retail, trade or home improvement sales experience would be advantageous, but is not essential.
