Sales & Business Development Manager | Hybrid – Combination of working from home & client visits with at least two days in the office per week | Full Time | £45,000 basic salary | £75,000 on target earning, however this is uncapped

Our client is a medium-sized company based in Tollerton, Nottingham. Established over 30 years ago, they are a friendly driven team, aiming to deliver great products, at reasonable prices to their customers both in the UK and across the world.

One of the company’s brands is the leading manufacturer in storage and charging solutions, ensuring that laptops, tablets and other devices are charged and ready when they are needed for retail, corporate, health and education settings.

As a Sales and Business Development Manager, you will be confident, outgoing, friendly and able to work within a team and independently, driving revenue and growth via the current reseller network, discovering new opportunities and exploring new sectors.

You will be responsible for collaborating and supporting sales activities within the region to achieve the business’s sales targets.

Are you the right person for the job?

Similar role experience essential, a minimum of 3 years of sales experience
Proven sales executive experience, meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Confident delivery of presentations or training
Demonstrable experience in delivering sales through a solutions-led approach
Business acumen, problem solving, relationship building
Self-motivated and confident
Ability to work with minimum supervision
Excellent listening, negotiation, and problem solving skills
Excellent verbal and written skills
Experience in B2B sales in education, corporate, healthcare and hospitality would be advantageous
What will your role look like?

This role requirement is varied, but will include:

Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand their customer base
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives
Identify & research tender/project opportunities
Promoting and marketing products to the end users, representing the brand at various exhibitions and participating in strategic events
Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations
Participate in the negotiation of contracts and closing agreements including tenders
Liaise with Marketing and Product Development departments to develop tailored products and strategies to win new contracts
Regular travel across the UK to visit resellers and other potential clients
Complete sales analysis by customer, product, and sector to ensure customers are not forgotten and close relationships are maintained with all key customers
