Job Title: Sales Associate

Location: Preston

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary Range: £26,000 - £29,000 per annum

Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a Sales Associate to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and identifying new business opportunities. You will have the chance to work with a talented and motivated team, as well as establish meaningful partnerships with clients to help them achieve their business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify potential clients and develop strategic plans to pursue new business opportunities
Build and maintain relationships with existing clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships
Conduct market research to identify industry trends and stay up-to-date with competitors' activities
Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs on a regular basis
Update and maintain the customer database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information
Prepare quotes, proposals, and sales contracts, in collaboration with the sales team.
Schedule meetings and appointments, ensuring availability of relevant stakeholders.
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any customer inquiries or issues in a timely and professional manner.
Monitor and track sales activities, providing regular updates and reports to the sales team and management.

Requirements:

Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Self-motivated and proactive approach to work, with the ability to take initiative and solve problems.
Previous experience in business development, sales, or a related field
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated and results-oriented
