Job Summary:

Elite Personnel is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Sales Administrator to join our client’s manufacturing business. The ideal candidate will possess strong proficiency in SAP and Excel, with a background in sales support and administration within a manufacturing environment. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth and efficient sales operations, contributing to the overall success of the business.

Key Responsibilities: for the Sales Administrator

Order Processing: Accurately process sales orders using SAP, ensuring all details are correct and orders are fulfilled in a timely manner.

Customer Support: Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries, providing exceptional service and resolving issues efficiently.

Data Management: Maintain and update customer and sales data in SAP and Excel, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.

Reporting: Generate and analyse sales reports using Excel to support the sales team in tracking performance and identifying trends.

Coordination: Liaise with various departments (production, shipping, finance) to ensure seamless order fulfilment and address any issues that arise.

Documentation: Prepare and manage sales documentation, including invoices, quotations, and delivery notes.

Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring inventory levels and coordinating with the production team to meet customer demands.

Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the implementation of more efficient sales administration practices.

Required Qualifications: for the Sales Administrator

Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a sales administration role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in SAP is essential.

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to quickly and effectively resolve customer issues and improve processes.

Preferred Qualifications: for the Sales Administrator

* Experience with other ERP systems besides SAP.

* Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain management.

* Familiarity with CRM software.
