Description:

The Sales Administrator will regularly be the first point of contact to our business for prospective and existing clients. To provide comprehensive support to dedicated, driven and successful nationwide Sales Team; managing sales process from initial conception to conversion into live engineering works and where necessary through to completion of engineering works. Assign works, diary management of actions and people, using in-house systems and associated administrative tasks.

Main Purpose

* To provide Sales Support to the Media Sales department

* To manage leads and distribute within agreed SLA’s

* Set up appointments with Key Clients at quote stage

* Follow up submitted Quotations

* Support Quote generation and Client correspondence at all stages of the sales cycle

* Update all data management systems

* Organise and collate Job Packs for engineering

Key Performance Areas

* General sales administration

* Inbound / outbound communication with clients and customers, verbal and written

* Internal communication with sales

* Following up quotes/sales leads

* Lead generation

* Organising client appointments

* Accurate updates of our CRM systems

Key Skills/Knowledge

* Previous Sales Administrator role held in a Telecoms/Engineering environment preferred.

* Similar industry experience preferred with previous experience of a sales environment.

* Previous high volume internal and external relationship management an advantage.

* Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) especially with remote points of contact and the ability to negotiate and influence effectively.

* Excellent IT skills including Outlook, Word, Excel (reporting) and database management

* Excellent organisation skills and document management essential.

Main Duties of Role

Operational

* Effectively handle telephone communications

* Respond to follow up calls to clients as required and in line with SLA’s

* Passing leads on to the BDM’s

* Provide support in quote generation and client correspondence

* Lead generation/cold calling/booking appointments

* Capturing all data and updates on CRM system

* Producing sales order handover packs for engineering department

Customer Service

Daily conversations with clients to follow up on opportunities

Work with the relevant engineering department surrounding client issues

Represent the Company effectively in all customer communications

Effectively provide information and responses to queries from internal/external customers

Communication

Regular external communication via phone and email with clients, customers and 3rd party partners

Regular internal communication with nationwide Sales team, product specialists, Group Finance team, engineering and technical specialists

People

Working as part of a nationwide team

Specifics

8.30 – 5.30 Monday – Friday

20 days holiday

AE Pension (after 3 months)

Birthday leave & healthcare cash plan (after probation)

6 months’ probation as standard

All roles are subject to DBS, medial screening, 5 years referencing and valid right to work in the UK
