Job Summary
As the Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of key client accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering tailored solutions to meet client needs. Drawing upon your expertise in exhibition modular systems and project management, you will collaborate closely with the Sales Director to develop and implement strategic sales plans, drive revenue growth, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, serving as their primary point of contact and trusted advisor in matters related to exhibition stands and modular systems.
Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with the Sales Director to develop and implement strategic sales plans focused on promoting the company's exhibition solutions and services.
New Business Development:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts and potential clients, leveraging your knowledge of exhibition modular systems to provide innovative solutions.

Proposal Development: Prepare and present compelling proposals and presentations tailored to client needs and objectives, showcasing the company's capabilities in delivering high-quality exhibition stands.

Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms and contracts with clients to secure profitable deals and ensure mutually beneficial agreements for the delivery of exhibition projects.

Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Track sales activity, analyse performance metrics, and provide regular reports to the Sales Director on sales pipeline, forecasts, and results within the exhibition sector.

Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments within the exhibition and events industry to identify opportunities and threats.

Customer Service: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by promptly addressing client inquiries, resolving issues related to exhibition stand projects, and proactively anticipating client needs.

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Operations, and Project Management to ensure alignment and support sales objectives related to exhibition stand projects.
Additional Responsibilities:

Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network with potential clients and promote company products and services, with a specific focus on exhibition modular systems.

Participate in sales training and professional development activities to enhance sales skills and knowledge within the exhibition sector.

As duties and responsibilities change, the job description will be reviewed and amended in consultation with the Sales Account Manager.
The Sales Account Manager will carry out any other duties as are within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job as requested by the Line manager or Head of Department.
The Sales Account Manager will actively follow our company's policies including Equal Opportunities policies
The Sales Account Manager will maintain an awareness and observation of Fire and Health & Safety Regulations.
Qualifications:
Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred
Experience:

Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the events or exhibition industry
Experience managing key client accounts and exceeding sales targets
In-depth knowledge of exhibition modular systems and project management principles related to delivering exhibition stands
Skills:

Strong negotiation and communication skills
Excellent presentation and proposal writing abilities
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite

Working Conditions:

Travel: This role may require occasional travel to event venues, client meetings, and industry conferences in the UK and further afield

Fast-Paced Environment: The role operates in a dynamic and fast-paced event industry, requiring the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and deadlines.
