Aspire Jobs are delighted to be working with our client who are a well-established business based in East Dorset.
They are looking for a Sales Account Manager to join their team with the successful candidate being able to demonstrate strong sales background. As a reputable metal distributor, they have a lot of repeat business from their existing customers and it will be your responsibility to manage these accounts. They are also looking for someone who can work with them, grow their business with a mixture of cross selling, upselling and hunting new opportunities. Based in East Dorset, they have a newly refurbished office suite. You will be part of a small team working within an open plan office environment.
The successful Sales Account Manager will: -
* Proven sales / account manager experience
* Previous experience of selling metal is desirable but not essential
* Telephone sales techniques - closing sales and cold calling
* To develop new businesses opportunities
* Methodical and organised
* Self motivated and confident
* Calm under pressure
* Have good attention to detail with strong listening skills
* Desire to work within sales and overachieve targets
* Be flexible on a daily basis in your approach
Job
* To gain appointments with existing and new customers
* Regularly liaising with existing customers to maintain and develop long term relationship
* Act as a primary contact, help solve problems and ensure customer satisfaction
* Maintain accurate contact information on their system
* Process orders, monitor progress and keep customers informed
* Close sales and achieve monthly Team targets
