Talent-UK are working exclusively with our new client based in West Yorkshire.Our client are a market leader in the field of hardware and have been established for many years

Due to headcount increase our client is looking to recruit a full time permanent Sales Account Manager. The hours of work are Monday to Friday Monday to Friday 9-5.30 or 9.30 to 6pm. Hybrid working 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.

Overall role:

Working directly with the Sales Director and Team Supervisor, our client requires an experienced sales account manager to support their growing customer base, deal with new enquiries to generate new business and pipeline/portfolio development. The role includes general administration in line with customer sales transactions however the role is primarily sales focused.

As a Sales Account Manager your duties will include the following:

* Manage a portfolio of existing customers

* Develop and grow customer accounts

* Ensure customers receive excellent customer service

* Handle inbound enquiries from existing customers

* Negotiate pricing and raise sales orders

* Convert new customers to spend and existing customers to spend more

* Contact prospective customers to promote products

* Revive dormant customer accounts

* Proven and demonstrable experience in Account Management and Business Development

* Possess strong business acumen with problem solving attitude

* Self-motivated and driven

* Composed and confident telephone manner

* Team orientated

* Computer literate – MS Office (intermediate Excel) / knowledge of CRM platform formats

The ideal Sales Account Manager will posses the following:

* Trade or technical experience is preferred but not mandatory – training will be provided
