Do you have experience of validating products, systems or components within aerospace, defence, automotive or similar high value design & manufacturing industry?
Or have you previously been responsible for the safety compliance Engine components, Electro/Mech Assemblies or a  precision manufactured component / combination of systems?
Do you have significant experience of validating, compliance or assisting engineers developing these within the one of these markets?

We are looking to attract an additional person to a higher skilled, close knit team within this company, they are looking to source an additional person to this team.

Product Safety Compliance Engineer
Engineering Team
 
Due to exciting developments in our product range, an opportunity has arisen for a Product Safety Compliance Engineer to join our engineering team.  
As a Product Safety Compliance Engineer you will support the development our family of electro mech assemblies and associated products, ensuring that product regulations are met across a range of projects.
Working in conjunction with and offering guidance to fellow engineers you will be tasked with;
 
Responsibilities
The Product Safety Compliance Engineer will:

Identify and interpret product standards relating to regulations and certification requirements
Ensure timely completion of product safety compliance documentation, risk assessments, and audits.
Work with engineers and project leads to identify safety hazards and compliance risks, agree appropriate mitigation actions, drive target timelines for validation/testing, document test outcomes, and agree sign off criteria. 
Desirable Qualifications

Self-directed and capable of handling and prioritising multiple projects.
Strong commitment to product safety and quality, with excellent communication / influencing skills at all levels.
Knowledge of safety engineering in design
Significant aviation, automotive, defence or manufactured product safety experience
Experience in working within a Design Organisation
Advanced report writing skills
Attention to detail
Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision
Proven ability to build strategic working relationships, understand business constraints, and resolve conflict through compromise and consensus building.
Experience in creation of product compliance documentation or validation reports, to demonstrate product safety. 
 
Salary £55 - £62 doe + attractive benefits package
