About the opportunity
My client are a leading Aircraft Manufacture and Operations business, who facilitate Aircraft Sales, Bespoke Aircraft Builds, Maintenance and Spares & Repairs. Capabilities include Aircraft Design & Customisation, Flight Test, Certification, Train and Technical Support.
The Quality & Safety Manager will be responsible for responsible for management of all aspects of Aviation Quality Safety Management Systems across the business.
Deliverables
Liaison with Civil and Military Aviation Safety Regulators e.g. CAA, EASA, FAA, BCAR and MAA
Oversee Design, Maintenance, Production and Training approvals for Part 21, 21G, 145, 147, CAMO and BCAR
Develop and maintain risk-based audit plan and ensure regulatory compliance
Maintain Quality Management documentation, keep handbooks up to date and ensure training records & authorisations/permits are kept up to date Person Requirements
Form 4 Holder – Quality Manager
Excellent knowledge of Civil and Military aviation Design, Production and Maintenance
Trained Lead Auditor Qualifications
Formal Aviation Safety & Quality qualifications
Civil and Military Regulatory Training (CAA, EASA 145, CAMO, Part 21 / 21G, Part 147) Must be eligible for SC Clearance
