Description:

Building careers are currently working with a Social housing company based in the St Helens area who are currently recruiting for a Safer Estates Enforcement officer.

This is a temporary position for 6 months.

Salary - £36,221

PURPOSE OF THE POST:

Safer Enforcement Officers are responsible for the management of serious and persistent ASB & other tenancy breach cases, where early intervention measures have failed and warrant the consideration of legal measures to enforce tenancy conditions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Review the Anti-Social Behaviour and Domestic Abuse Policy, Tenancy Policy and any associated policies and procedures.
Support the local authorities in the delivery of their Community Safety Strategy.
Ensure timely, effective case management, working closely with the Neighbourhood Teams and Legal as required.
Establish, develop and maintain relationships with partners to effectively deliver the Safer Estates Strategy.
Work with Business Assurance to ensure that customer and stakeholder feedback shapes Safer Estates service delivery and improved ways of working.
Create a team culture of performance and encouragement, including ensuring that performance is discussed in Team meetings and during staff performance reviews.
Ensure that the Safer Estates Service complies with relevant legislation and best practice.
Support the delivery of value for money services, providing cost-effective, efficient, quality services to meet existing and potential customers' needs.
Work with the Communications Team to manage risks, promote successful case outcomes.SKILLS/ QUALIFCATIONS:

Excellent knowledge of national agenda and best practice in relation to ASB
Excellent knowledge and understanding of the relevant legal framework
