We are currently working with an highly regarded local authority in the South West of England, for an experienced children's social worker to join their well established Safeguarding Team.
Leaders in Care are offering £46/h for this role, which is one of the highest in the area at the moment.
In this team you will work a mixed caseload of long term CP / CIN cases, as well as short term assessment work, giving you a great balance and variety of workload.
Benefits of this role include a manageable caseload, as cases are split evenly across the service so you can give each case the time it needs to provide the best service to children and families concerned. You will also be thoroughly supported by the longstanding perm management structure, who offer regular development opportunities and supervision.
You can also expect a stable 6-month contract from the get go, ensuring you feel secure in the role, with the further option to extend beyond this should you wish.
