The Salvation Army UK & Ireland Territory is a Christian Church and charity, working in and with communities throughout the UK and Ireland.

We are recruiting for an experienced qualified Health and Safety or Environmental Health Practitioner. You will work as part of the Safe Mission Team supporting safe delivery of the many activities of the Salvation Army. This includes thriving community churches, a variety of charity shops, Salvation Army Lifehouses, residential homes for older people and other settings in the North of England.

The post holder will lead on key strategic pieces of project work, to contribute to the promotion of a positive health & safety culture.

Reporting to the Head of Safe Mission you will be based at home and be required to occasionally travel throughout the UK.

The postholder must be able to work within the Christian ethos of the The Salvation Army.
