Job Type: Temporary / Contract (2 weeks sick-leave cover)
Start Date: Thursday, 25th June 2026
Hours: Monday - Friday, 07:30 - 17:00 (No weekend work)

Job Description
We are urgently seeking an experienced and reliable Wheeled Excavator (Rubber Duck) Operator for a 2-week short-term contract covering sick leave at a utility facility in Jarrow.
This is an immediate start for a skilled operator who can hit the ground running and work efficiently alongside the on-site team.
Key Responsibilities
Safe operation of a wheeled excavator (Rubber Duck) on-site.
Assisting with groundworks, muck-away, and material movement as directed.
Adhering strictly to site health and safety regulations.
Performing daily plant checks and basic maintenance on the machine.
Requirements & Qualifications
Valid CPCS or NPORS ticket for Wheeled Excavator.
Proven experience operating a Rubber Duck on civil engineering, groundwork, or utility sites.
Full PPE required (Safety boots, hi-vis vest/trousers, hard hat, and gloves).
Strong commitment to safety and excellent timekeeping.
