Job Title: RTG Crane Operator
Location: Ilkeston, Derbyshire
Duration: Temporary to Permanent
Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour
Shifts: Days
Hours: 45-50 hours per week
We are currently recruiting for a Rubber Tyre Gantry (RTG) Crane Operator to join our team working on the HS2 Project, based in Ilkeston, Derbyshire.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Operate travelling or stationary overhead crane to lift, move, and position loads, such as machinery, equipment, products, and materials.
Manipulate or depress crane controls to regulate speed and direction of crane and hoist movement according to instructions.
Maintains crane and hoisting mechanism.
Inspect crane for defective parts and notify supervisor of any defects or malfunctions.
Ensuring Health & Safety procedures are followed at all times Qualifications & Training:
B1 FLT licence.
Training will be provided for anyone without a current licence.Experience:
Experience operating Gantry Cranes.
Experience working with precast concrete products.
