Are you an enthusiastic and committed Religious Studies Teacher looking for a new opportunity in a welcoming and supportive school?
We are delighted to be working with a lovely mainstream secondary school based near Dudley, who are seeking an inspiring RS Teacher to join their team from mid-November on a maternity cover basis.
The school has a positive and inclusive ethos, with a strong focus on supporting both students and staff. They are looking for a teacher who can deliver engaging and thought-provoking RS lessons, inspire students across the ability range, and become a valued member of the department.
The Role
Teaching Religious Studies across Key Stages 3 and 4
Planning and delivering engaging, challenging and inclusive lessons
Supporting students to achieve their academic potential
Contributing positively to the wider life of the school
Working collaboratively with colleagues within the department and across the school
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a teacher who:
Has experience teaching RS within a secondary school setting
Holds QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
Is passionate about their subject and committed to raising achievement
Can build positive relationships with students and colleagues
Has high expectations of behaviour and learning
Is enthusiastic, reliable and keen to become part of a supportive school community
