Description:
We are seeking experienced and reliable Roofers to carry out repairs, maintenance, and installation works across a range of social housing properties. The successful candidate will be capable of working independently, maintaining high standards of workmanship, and adhering to all health and safety requirements.
Location: Bodmin and surrounding areas
Salary: £23 CIS
Key Responsibilities
Carry out slating and tiling repairs, renewals, and installations.
Diagnose roofing defects and undertake remedial works.
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales.
Comply with health and safety regulations and site-specific requirements.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
Liaise professionally with clients, tenants, and colleagues.
Complete relevant paperwork and job records as required.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Slater & Tiler.
Valid Asbestos Awareness Certificate.
Valid Working at Height Certificate.
Valid Manual Handling Certificate.
DBS Check.
Full UK driving licence and own transport.
Must supply and maintain own tools.
Strong knowledge of roofing materials, methods, and safe working practices.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
