JOB TITLE: Roofer

LOCATION: Devon
Our client is looking for an experienced Roofer to join their team on a number of different projects they have in and around the Devon area. Must have experience and be confident working with felt, batten, slate, tiles, insulating - traditional roofing
Once this project is complete and Daniel Owen have secured a positive finishing reference, we will endeavour to find you further work.
Responsibilities:
Experience working in a customer-focused environment within agreed performance targets.
Ability to carry out physical tasks and lift weights in accordance with Health and Safety guidelines.
Ability to work at heights and have the stamina and balance to work on a range of roof types.
Ability to operate safely having taken into account any environmental circumstances and possible risks.
An ability to understand and put into practise any health and safety regulations involved in roofing works in particular working at height regulations
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Roofer for new build housing
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
Knowledge of relevant building codes and regulations
Working at heights
Must have own tools
