Roofer

Description:

We are looking for an experienced Roofer who will work with a great team, who support each other and work together to deliver a great service for our customers. Ideally possessing a background and qualification in Roofing, working within Social Housing tenanted properties on traditional roofs, and shared accommodation complexes.

Job Requirements:

Roofer with experience of working on all aspects of domestic roofing and related repairs including: Roof tile replacements, fascia/soffit and rain water goods repairs/replacements, chimney and valley repairs and flat roof refelting.

Working in co-operation with other trades/occupations as well as the site or contract team, whilst managing own time effectively.

Working from job tickets or a handheld device daily.

Job Qualifications:

Knowledge of current roofing standards, including BS 5534 and BS 8000.

Knowledge and qualifications in; ​NVQ Level 3 Roofing Occupations or Competent Roofer Scheme experience preferred.

Manufacturer-approved roofing system training (e.g., Bauder, IKO, Sika, Marley, Redland).

Candidates will also require Working at Height, Asbestos Awareness and Manual Handling training. Where these certifications have expired, refresher training can be provided.

Full UK Driving Licence is required.

This role will require a DBS check.
