Roll Grinder Operator

Description:

We’re recruiting a Roll Grinder Operator to join a leading manufacturing and rolling‑mill operation in Shropshire. The Roll Grinder Operator will operate roll‑grinding machinery, support production and maintain accuracy, safety and quality. You will receive a salary of £36,656 and any training required. This Roll Grinder Operator role runs on a four‑shift rotation of two days and two nights, totalling 42 hours.

The Roll Grinder Operator will carry out machine setup, safe operation, basic maintenance and housekeeping. You’ll use micrometers, verniers and dial indicators to check roll dimensions and finish, and log data through digital HMIs. An abrasive‑wheel qualification is required.
