Robotics Engineer
Location: Midlands

Our client is a leading provider of automation solutions, specializing in the design, development, and deployment of advanced control systems for a wide range of industries. They are seeking a talented and motivated Robotics Engineer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, programming, and testing robotic systems and automated processes. This role requires a strong understanding of robotics, control systems, and software development to create innovative solutions that meet the customers needs.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement robotic systems for automation projects.
* Program and test robots to perform specific tasksA using various programming languages and tools.
* Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and other team members to develop and refine control systems.
* Integrate robotic systems with other automated equipment and ensure seamless operation.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to robotic systems and automation processes.
* Conduct research to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in robotics and automation technology.
* Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, user manuals, and maintenance procedures.
* Provide training and support to clients and internal staff on the operation and maintenance of robotic systems.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations throughout the development and implementation process.

Requirements:
* Proven experience in robotics programming and engineering, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
* Strong understanding of control systems, sensors, actuators, and automation technologies.
* Familiarity with PLC programming (Siemens S7) and HMI development.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* Knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to robotics and automation.

Qualifications:
* Master's degree in Robotics, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
* Experience with collaborative robots and their integration into existing systems.
* Certification in robotics or automation engineering.
