Robotic Field Service Engineer

£45,000–£60,000 + Company Car

Location: UK Wide – Field Based
Hours: Monday to Friday

A UK-Wide engineering company who provides, servicing and maintains Robotics to customers all across the UK are now looking for an experienced Robotics Field Service Engineer to join their team.

Robotic Field Service Engineer - The Opportunity

We are recruiting for a growing and well-established industrial robotics company seeking a skilled, hands-on Robotic Field Service Engineer to join its expanding UK service team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer who enjoys getting their hands dirty, solving technical problems and working directly with industrial robotic systems.

We're looking for a practical problem solver, not someone who simply programs robots!

You'll be responsible for diagnosing faults, repairing breakdowns, servicing and maintaining industrial robots across a variety of manufacturing environments.

Robotic Field Service Engineer - Key Responsibilities

* Carry out fault finding, diagnostics and repairs on industrial robotic systems.

* Service and maintain ABB, FANUC and KUKA robots.

* Diagnose electrical, mechanical and control system faults.

* Attend customer sites to resolve breakdowns and minimise downtime.

* Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM).

* Support robot calibration, mastering and commissioning activities.

* Provide professional technical support to customers across the UK.

Robotic Field Service Engineer - What We're Looking For

Ideally, you'll have hands-on experience maintaining or repairing industrial robots, particularly ABB, FANUC or KUKA.

You don't need experience with all three manufacturers! If you're experienced with one, full training will be provided on the others.

We're also keen to hear from experienced Multi-Skilled Field Service Engineers with strong electrical, mechanical and PLC fault-finding skills who are looking to develop a career in industrial robotics.

The ideal candidate will have:

* Strong hands-on electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience.

* Experience maintaining, servicing and repairing industrial machinery.

* Industrial robotics experience OR a strong multi-skilled engineering background with PLC knowledge.

* A proactive, practical approach to diagnosing and resolving breakdowns.

* The ability to work independently at customer sites.

* A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide.

Robotic Field Service Engineer - What's on Offer?

* £45,000–£60,000 basic salary, dependent on relevant experience.

* Company car.

* Overtime opportunities.

* Full manufacturer and technical training.

* Pension scheme.

* Laptop and mobile phone.

* Career development within a growing robotics business.

* The opportunity to specialise in ABB, FANUC and KUKA industrial robotics.

Interested?

Whether you're an experienced Robotics Engineer looking for your next challenge or a talented Multi-Skilled Field Service Engineer wanting to move into robotics, we'd love to hear from you.
