We are currently recruiting on behalf of a reputable UK-wide recovery business for the position of Roadside Vehicle Technician based in Brighton, East Sussex. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and experienced motor trade professional seeking a dynamic, mobile working environment with career progression prospects.

Competitive basic salary of £50,669, with an OTE of up to £57,000 per annum
Workweek of 40 hours, with flexible shifts scheduled between 06:00 and 02:00, including weekends and bank holidays

Support from a highly experienced technical teamDuties of the Roadside Vehicle Technician:

Conduct roadside repairs, diagnostics, and fault-finding on a wide range of vehicles
Provide exceptional customer service while on-site resolving breakdowns efficiently
Utilise diagnostic tools and electrical knowledge to identify issues accurately
Complete paperwork and reports associated with each repair operation
Ensure vehicle safety and compliance with industry standards
Maintain the high safety and professionalism standards expected by the company
Work independently on breakdown tasks but collaborate with the technical team when necessary
Manage varied technical problems, including electrical and complex diagnosticsRequirements of the Roadside Vehicle Technician:

Full UK driving licence
Minimum of a Level 2 (or higher) light vehicle maintenance qualification or equivalent
At least 2 years post-qualification experience in vehicle repair or diagnostics
Strong fault-finding skills with the ability to work independently
Customer-focused approach with excellent communication skills
Flexibility to work weekends, with approximately 50% of weekends on rota
