Road Freight Account Manager
Manchester | £30,000-£35,000 + bonus
Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm

The role
You'll manage relationships with road freight customers, understand their requirements and work closely with operations to deliver a reliable service.
Your responsibilities will include:
Acting as the main point of contact for your customer accounts
Building relationships and identifying opportunities to grow existing business
Preparing quotations and following up on customer enquiries
Liaising with operations, overseas partners and transport providers
Monitoring service performance and resolving customer queries
Keeping customers informed and ensuring their requirements are understood
Maintaining accurate account records and pricing information
About you
Experience in road freight account management, customer service or operations
A good understanding of road freight services and customer requirements
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Commercial awareness and confidence discussing rates and quotations
An organised, proactive approach to managing a busy workload
