Road Freight Forwarder
Location: Bradford
Salary: Up to £37,000, depending on experience
Hours: Monday to Friday, with a choice of 8:00am-4:30pm, 8:30am-5:00pm or 9:00am-5:30pm
Are you an experienced Road Freight Forwarder looking for greater job security, genuine progression and a varied role within a growing business?
We are recruiting for an established, multisite logistics company that continues to expand across the UK. You will join a modern Bradford office and become part of a friendly, diverse workforce where your experience will be valued.
The company will consider candidates with either road freight import or export experience. You do not need to have experience in both.

The Role
Managing European road freight import or export shipments from booking through to delivery
Liaising with customers, hauliers, overseas partners and internal departments
Preparing transport documentation and maintaining accurate records
Producing quotations and securing competitive transport rates
Monitoring shipments and proactively resolving delays or operational issues
Providing regular updates and a high standard of customer service
Developing strong relationships with customers and suppliers
The Candidate
Previous experience in either road freight imports or exports
Good knowledge of European road freight operations
Confident communicating with customers, hauliers and overseas partners
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy workload
Commercially aware, proactive and comfortable solving problems
Able to work independently while contributing to a supportive team
