Road Freight Customer Service Coordinator
Location: Bradford, BD12
Salary: Up to £28,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm or 9:00am-5:30pm

The Role
You will act as a key point of contact for customers, helping to coordinate their road freight requirements and keeping them updated throughout the process.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing a high volume of customer emails and telephone calls
Providing customers with regular shipment updates
Responding quickly and professionally to queries
Liaising with internal teams, drivers, hauliers and transport partners
Monitoring road freight movements and identifying potential delays
Resolving problems and ensuring customers receive a high standard of service
Updating internal systems with accurate shipment information
Building strong, long-term relationships with customers
Supporting the wider operations team when required
The Successful Candidate
We are looking for someone with a strong background in at least one of the following areas:
Logistics or freight forwarding
European road freight
Transport or distribution
High-volume customer service
You will also need:
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Confidence handling a large number of emails and calls
Excellent organisation and attention to detail
The ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
A proactive approach to solving problems
The drive and ambition to learn and progress
Good general computer and administration skills
Previous road freight experience would be highly beneficial, but candidates with strong logistics or fast-paced customer service experience will also be considered.
