Description:

Conrad Consulting are working with a new practice seeking a talented RIBA Part 2 Architectural Assistant with a genuine interest in Healthcare design. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands‑on project experience, build technical confidence, and progress toward Part 3 within a supportive, professional and growing team.

This practice have recently expanded their team and are working on several large-scale new projects based across the North of England.

The Manchester studio is small, but growing. This would be an excellent time to join the team as they continue to expand their northern operation.

You’ll have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful Healthcare projects across Manchester and the wider North‑West, playing a key role in shaping environments that directly impact community wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting senior architects on Healthcare‑sector schemes including hospitals, primary care facilities, and specialist clinical environments.

Preparing design and technical information across early and later RIBA stages.

Attending site visits and contributing to project coordination.

Liaising with clients and consultants with growing confidence.

Assisting in ensuring projects are delivered to high standards of quality, compliance, and design integrity.

Skills & Experience Required

RIBA Part 2 qualification (RIBA).

Ideally 1 year of practice experience, though strong graduates will also be considered – This must be UK-based experience.

Good technical awareness.

Proficiency in Revit is essential.

Any exposure to Healthcare‑sector projects is advantageous but not essential. We will consider other sector knowledge experience (Education, Commercial, Industrial, etc).

A motivated, proactive mindset and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Why This Role Stands Out

As this successful national practice continues to expand its North‑West presence, there is clear scope for progression — including Part 3 support and the opportunity to grow into a job‑running role in the near future.

Their team work on a flexible basis, with opportunities for home-based working and flexible hours
