A RF Test Engineer is sought for a world renowned and respected high-tech manufacturer based in Bristol. The company is going through an exciting period of expansion and success and is offering an exciting opportunity to the successful candidate.
This role covers a broad range of tasks associated with RF test procedures and design. The successful candidate will be practical, hands on and a leader in engineering, a real expert in their field.
The Role:
·First call for diagnosis and fault finding for production and field RF and test procedures.
·Lead, train and certify a team of test engineers.
·Provide information and definition for test document authors.
·Production and commissioning of ATE (Automatic Test Equipment)
·Liaise with NPI teams to test new components.
·Provide consultation and advise on RF design to engineering and project teams.
The Person:
·HNC, Degree or equivalent in electronic engineering
·Exceptional electronics knowledge
·High level of high frequency RF matching & signal processing
·Programming/software experience preferred
·Knowledge of mechanical and electrical assembly
·Leadership skills and team management
