Revit Technician Required in Edgware

GVR Solutions are working with a leading specialist joinery fit-out contractor, delivering high-quality bespoke projects across commercial, hospitality, retail and public sector environments. Due to continued growth and an expanding project portfolio, they are seeking an experienced Revit Technician to join their team.

Responsibilities of the Revit Technician:

* Produced detailed 3D Revit models for bespoke joinery and interior fit-out projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.

* Developed coordinated construction drawings, shop drawings, and manufacturing details for bespoke joinery items.

* Collaborated with design managers, architects, interior designers, and site teams to resolve design and coordination issues.

* Coordinated joinery models with architectural, structural, and MEP models using BIM workflows to identify and resolve clashes.

* Created and maintained Revit families for custom joinery components, improving modelling efficiency and consistency.

* Generated schedules, material take-offs, and quantities directly from Revit models to support procurement and production.

* Incorporated client comments, design revisions, and site information into Revit models throughout the project lifecycle.

* Ensured all models and drawings complied with company BIM standards, client requirements, and industry best practices.

Requirements of the Revit Technician:

* Minimum 2 years’ experience working in design for Joinery contractor (or similar) on BIM ISO 19650 projects.

* Superb knowledge and experience of BIM, including Revit, Clash Detection, COBie data drops, PIPs, LOD, BEPs, ISO 19650 and PAS1192.

* Excellent communication to support your colleagues and explain sometimes complex elements with ease and transparency.

* Ability to read 2D technical drawings to convert into 3D models.

* Knowledge of modern construction methods.

* Ability to plan workload effectively to design programme

* Ability to work on their own or as part as a design team on specific projects

* Able to articulate issues/points well to the Design Manager or other members of the team

* Problem solving

* Flexible in approach depending on project specific requirements
