Description:
You will:
Develop design to specification, working alongside the design team progressing details and material schedules.
Support in the develop and improvement of design processes and systems.
Update / issue design register in line with programme
Sit in on design team meetings with clients and contractors.
Maintain understand and control of material delivery requirements, subsequent lead times, and restrictions on construction programme.
Work alongside the project team to ensure design amendments are picked up and communicated.
An understanding of materials used within construction drawings and details is highly beneficial.
You will be required to attend onsite meetings.The person:
Experienced in Revit. Some BIM understanding would be beneficial
Those with extensive experience in CAD and with close industry experience can be considered.
Broader software/IT system understanding including the use of AutoCAD
Understanding/experience of material scheduling
A proactive problem solver able to develop systems to work more efficiently.
Strong communication, literacy and numeracy skills.What's on offer:
