Description:
Our client has an opportunity for a Retrofit Solution Engineer to join them on a contract basis until November 2024 initially. You will be given the opportunity to work in a small, experienced and collaborative team, for the in-service aircraft, as well working alongside colleagues from all over the wider business, and in particular with colleagues based in France.
Role: Retrofit Solution Engineer
Location: Filton
Hours: 35 hours per week across 4.5 days
Clearance: BPSS required to start
Hourly Rate: £55 per hour via Umbrella - inside IR35
You will find yourself working on gathering the Engineering data for the Service Bulletins:
The identification of installation drawings design solutions
Feasibility analysis
Configuration management
Continuous improvement initiatives like processes
Knowledge capture
Compliance with Airworthiness requirements
Ground Support Equipment
Future ways of working (like new integrated tools)
Requirements:
We are looking for an outstanding candidate who wants to learn and participate in the continuous transformation of Retrofit Solutions.
You will be able to demonstrate:
Any relevant Engineering degree (or in combination with another) such as Aerospace, Mechanical, Systems
Configuration management
3D experience in CATIA
Installation and drawings
Inquisitive mindset with good problem solving skills.
High level of commitment and proactivity, taking ownership of tasks.
Willingness to learn and develop different skills.
Demonstrating tenacity, resilience and perseverance.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
