TSA Surveying is working in partnership with a building consultancy looking for a Retrofit Assessor to conduct assessments on Social Housing properties in Cambridge.
The company has secured lots of work ahead of SHDF Wave 2.2 and are looking to take on some new Assessors on a contract basis, with about 150 properties to complete.
This role will involve undertaking Retrofit Assessment surveys of dwellings,
* Assessing the existing gas boiler and heating system.
* Any insulation measures, drawing up accurate floor plans of the property.
* Carrying out condition reports, along with conducting site-specific assessments.
The work also requires a Cavity Wall survey using a boroscope which will pay extra per survey, as well as possible air tightness testing and all surveys will be carried out through Elmhurst
We will ideally be looking for individuals who have already gained a level 3 qualification in Retrofit Assessment
