Are you an experienced retail professional looking for your next leadership opportunity? We're recruiting for a Retail Supervisor position in Harrogate with a successful and growing retailer.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate supervisor, senior sales advisor or team leader who enjoys supporting a high-performing team, delivering excellent customer service and helping drive commercial success. Offering a salary of up to £30,000, this role is ideal for someone who leads from the front and thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.
The Role
As Retail Supervisor, you'll be a key member of the store leadership team, helping to oversee daily operations and ensuring customers receive an outstanding in-store experience. You'll support the management team while coaching colleagues and maintaining exceptional standards across the store.
Key Responsibilities
Support the leadership team in achieving sales targets and delivering strong commercial results.
Motivate and guide team members to deliver excellent customer service.
Lead from the shop floor, setting the standard for customer engagement and service.
Take ownership of key operational tasks and ensure the store runs efficiently.
Help train and develop colleagues, providing regular coaching and support.
Maintain high standards of visual presentation, housekeeping and compliance.
Assist with stock control, deliveries and inventory accuracy.
Act as a key holder and support opening and closing procedures.
About You
Previous experience in a Supervisor, Senior Advisor or Team Leader role within retail.
A positive and proactive leadership style with the ability to motivate others.
Customer-focused with a passion for creating memorable shopping experiences.
Commercially minded with an understanding of sales and KPI performance.
Highly organised and able to prioritise effectively in a busy environment.
Comfortable making decisions and taking responsibility when needed.
Flexible, hands-on and motivated by achieving results as part of a team.
